ESOT Congress 2021 – A Programme to Remember

The biennial ESOT Congress is the largest gathering of the transplant community in Europe bringing clinicians, surgeons, physicians, nurses, scientists,researchersand patients to review latest developments in transplantation.

Programme highlights

The Opening Sessionpromisesto motivate and inspireour community,with short videos, scientifictalksand non-medical discussions.The centraltheme of the session is on managing inequalities inourfield,with COVID-19 recently pushing transplantation and wider healthcare services to the very limit.

Session chairs and key speakers, including Michael Marmot and Hannah Valantine, will discuss what is driving inequalitiesin resource allocation and how this problem can be managed, and improved, in the future.
